Oxford's close proximity to several international airports offers an easy access from Europe, Americas and the rest of the world. Oxford is situated close to a number of international airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted) and has excellent road, train and bus connections with these airports and with the rest of the UK.
St. Anne's College - an affiliate college of the University of Oxford - is conveniently located on Woodstock Road, only at a few minutes taxi drive from Oxford train and bus stations and within a walking distance of the centre of the town.

By Taxi in Oxford: There are a number of licenced taxi operators in Oxford, for example, Airports (+1993 881103), Radiotaxis (+1865 242424) Findlay Chauffer Service (+1865 736800), ABC Taxis (+1865 770077, +1865 775577), 001 Taxis (+1865 240000) Royal Cars (+1865 777333). There is also a taxi rank near Gloucester Green Bus Station and outside Oxford Train Station.
By Air: The most convenient airport for Oxford is London Heathrow. There is a frequent Bus service from Heathrow (Bay 11 at the Central Bus Station) to Oxford Gloucester Green Bus Station. St. Anne's College is only a few minutes taxi drive from this bus station. There is also a good train connection between Heathrow and Oxford. London Gatwick Airport is a little further but again has a direct bus connection with Oxford. A number of economy airline from Europe use London Stansted Airport but it has a less frequent bus connection with Oxford.
By Train: There are frequent direct trains between Oxford and London and regular links with the rest of the UK. Taxis can be ordered in advance or are available from the taxi rank just outside the train station. St. Anne's College is at 15-17 minutes walk from Oxford Train Station.
By Bus: There is a frequent bus service (every 8-10 minutes at peak hours) between Oxford and London operated by Oxford Bus Company and Stagecoach/The Oxford Tube. There are bus connections with many cities of the UK, including a direct service to Cambridge. Taxis can be ordered in advance or are available from the taxi rank just outside the bus station. St. Anne's College is at 10-12 minutes walk from Gloucester Green Bus Station.
By Car: There are no parking facilities at St. Anne's College but there is limited short-stay pay-and-display parking available just outside the College. Therefore, we suggest you do not travel by car unless unavoidable. You may also park your car in a number of Park & Ride car parks just out side the city and travel into the city on public transport. More information about Park & Ride car parks is available on the City of Oxford website below. Oxford is accessible via A40 at junction 8/8A on M40 from London.
