Terms and Conditions for Participants
- Full fees must be paid within 10 days of registration. All money transfer charges are to be met by senders.

- Cancellations made before 05 November 2007 shall incur a 25% administration charge (minimum £105).
- Cancellations made after 05 November 2007 but before 05 January 2008 shall incur a 40% administration charge (minimum £130).
- Cancellations made after 05 January 2008 shall incur an 80% administration charge (minimum £160). We regret that we are unable to refund after 30 January 2008. We warmly welcome substitute delegates at any time.
- Any student bursaries do not carry any cash value.
- Personal information provided by the delegates will be held in our database and may be used by Library Publishing Media to advertise its products. Occasionally, we may also share these information with interested third parties for marketing. If you do not wish to disclose your details to third parties please provide a written statement at the time of registration.
- In the unlikely event of the change of conference dates for any reasons beyond our control, should a delegate wish to withdraw from the conference, the maximum liability to us shall be limited to 75% refund of conference registration fee paid at the time of booking, with no additional liability whatsoever to the conference organisers and hosts, Library Publishing Media or any individuals affiliated with the conference or Library Publishing Media in any capacity. We may deduct any additional bank transfer fees associated with the refund.
- In the unlikely event of cancellation of the conference (also see Clause 10 below) the maximum liability shall be limited to full refund of conference registration fee paid at the time of booking, with no additional liability whatsoever to the conference organisers and hosts, Library Publishing Media or any individuals affiliated with the conference or Library Publishing Media in any capacity. We may deduct any additional bank transfer fees associated with the refund.
- If the cancellation of the conference is caused by a natural disaster, a disease epidemic or pandemic, war or act of terrorism, the maximum liability to us shall be limited to a maximum of 75% refund of conference registration fee paid at the time of booking, with no additional liability whatsoever to the conference organisers and hosts, Library Publishing Media or any individuals affiliated with the conference or Library Publishing Media in any capacity. We may deduct any additional bank transfer fees associated with the refund.
- No refund will be given for services that have been provided already, such as a weblink or an advertisement on the conference website.
- Should there be a change in the conference venue for any reason, for example to accommodate the participants’ number, all participants will be notified well in advance. However, there will be no liability whatsoever to the conference organisers and hosts, Library Publishing Media or any individuals affiliated with the conference or Library Publishing Media in any capacity.
- Occasionally, it may be unavoidable to change the conference agenda and the identity of speakers for reasons beyond our control.
- Conference participants are responsible taking appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. The conference organisers and hosts, Library Publishing Media or any individuals associated with the conference or Library Publishing Media in any capacity shall not be liable for any kind of loss or damage to personal property, delegates or exhibitors, unless proven beyond doubt to be caused by our negligence.
- Conference participants shall be responsible for compensating any loss should they cause damage to the host’s property or the venue.
- The information given in oral and poster presentations or at exhibitions in connection with the conference shall come from diverse sources and it is not in the capacity of the conference organisers or Library Publishing Media to validate it. Therefore, the conference organisers or Library Publishing Media accept no responsibility for the correctness of the information, and the conference organisers and hosts, Library Publishing Media or any individuals affiliated with the conference or Library Publishing Media in any capacity shall have no liability of any kind in any country or court of law.
- The conference organisers and hosts, Library Publishing Media or any individuals associated with the conference or Library Publishing Media make no representation or warranty of gain of business or profits as a result of use of services or information provided in connection with the conference and shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, loss of business, employment, profits or anticipated savings resulting from the use of the services or information provided in connection with the conference, in any country or court of law.
- The conference organisers and hosts, Library Publishing Media or any individuals associated with the conference or Library Publishing Media shall not be liable, in any country or court of law, for infringement of third party rights by a conference delegate or participant.
- The conference website and that of Library Publishing Media contains links to a number of other websites, provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which we take no responsibility, nor providing a link on our website means that we necessarily agree to their contents, neither we are responsible for contents of any website linking to this website.
- We have the right to accept or reject a registration application without giving reasons and our decision shall be final. We also reserve the right to reject a previously accepted application without giving reasons and our decision shall be final.
- We reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions or contents of the website at any time without prior notice.
- These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants of this conference.
