Call for Papers

The Journal of Venom Research (now indexed in PubMed and PubMed Central) invites articles in the general areas of therapeutic, molecular and biochemical research on venoms.

The Journal of Venom Research (JVR) is a new open-access, peer-reviewed journal on therapeutic, molecular and biochemical research on natural toxins, to be published by Library Publishing Media (Oxford, UK). The Journal will be covered by major indexing databases, including PubMed/Medline, Google Scholar, CAS, NextBio and others, providing maximum global visibility. All Journal articles are made available free-of-cost without the need for subscription, via the Journal website and also via permanent digital archives, such as PubMed Central, UKPMC, PMC Canada, and the Directory of Open Access Journals. We are confident that the Journal will fill the role of a main stream open-access international journal in this ever expanding area of research, serving the best interests of the scientific community worldwide. The Journal will provide a complete, reliable and freely-available source of information and essential reading for scientists and researchers on current developments in the field.

Our aim is to rapidly publish submitted articles, generally within 10-12 weeks of submission if accepted, and will invite articles in the following categories: Full Research Articles, Research Reports, Research Letter, Review Articles, Mini-reviews and Meeting Reviews. All submitted articles will undergo rigorous peer-review before publication.
